Red Roof Sugar Shack - 24x24, oil on deep canvas, SOLD

This painting was painted from a small oil sketch I did on location in Quebec one Spring.  These old red roof shacks were built to boil the Maple trees sap for several hours, hence making maple syrup.  Unfortunately, most of these old shacks are disappearing and making room for a more efficient building to make this unique yummy syrup.  On a sad note, this old building is now gone, I am grateful that I was able to capture it with my paintbrush.
