An 8x10 oil study of rocks and water, which an artist friend calls this type of subject RAW (rocks and water - which is a common scene where I live), lol.  One winter friday our weather was sunshine and no wind, making it very enjoyable to be painting on location especially by the Salish Sea.  It was a delightful day to be outside, with a paintbrush and the sun shining upon me.
